Student Notes

The notes provides a convenient way to add a note to the student for future reference.

Example: The school may follow up on an outstanding account. Adding a note will be a good way to record what was discussed and agreed.

ScholaSys will also add System notes.

User Notes

This is a list of notes the user maintain.

System Notes

ScholaSys will add notes to the System tab when:

1. An email is sent. The note will show the date, the email addresses used and the subject line of the email. These include:
   • Statements.
   • Bulk email communcation.
2. An SMS message is sent. The note will show the SMS message, the cellular numbers and the delivery status.

SMS Delivery Status

For SMS messages, ScholaSys will request the delivery status of the SMS messages and update the notes accordingly. The delivery status will appear next to each cellular number.

Status	Description
DELIVRD	Refers to the successful submission of the SMS to the handset. The cellular network reports the
UNDELIV	Refers to the unsuccessful submission of the SMS to the handset, caused by inactive or unreachable numbers. The cellular network reports the status.
EXPIRED	Refers to no status update being received within the validity period. This is usually caused by the handset being off, going to voicemail, being redirected, or the handset being out of network reach.
BLIST	SMS delivery to the number is restricted due to a request by the owner or WASPA.
SUBMITD	The SMS has been submitted to the cellular network for delivery. We are waiting for a status update from the cellular network.
STAGED	The SMS is waiting in the system to be submitted to the cellular network. In most cases this is for SMSes that are scheduled for a future send date.
CANCELLED	The SMS was scheduled to be sent at a future date and time, but was cancelled by the user before the send date and time were reached.
NOROUTE	Refers to no route being available for the number.
