Home Page
The Home page displays a number of graphs to give an overview of the state of the school.
Top Outstanding Accounts
This lists the top 10 outstanding accounts. It also shows the age of the outstanding amount, 90+ days in arrears, 60 days in arrears, and so on.
Outstanding fee collection should focus on collecting the top 10 accounts first. This will usually result in the greatest financial benefit to the school.
Age Analys
There are two graphs showing the age analysis. These indicate the total amounts on the student accounts presented in different ways.
Outstanding Accounts Only
This graph displays only student accounts owing to the school. Consider the following example:
| Student No | Balance |
|---|---|
| 10 | 500.00 |
| 11 | -200.00 |
| 20 | 700.00 |
Only students 10 and 20 owe fees to the school. In the 'Outstanding Accounts Only' graph, only students 10 and 20 will be included. Student 11 will not be included since the account balance is in credit.
All Accounts
This graph displays the accounts of all students irrespective of the account balance. From the example above: All students, 10, 11 and 20, will be included in the graph.
Why do the two graphs differ?
The first graph shows all the money the school can expect to collect if all the students pay their outstanding accounts.
The second graph shows the financial position of the school. It shows the nett effect if all students pay their outstanding accounts and if the school refunds all credits on student accounts that are overpaid.
Students by Grade and Class
This table shows the allocation of all the students to the various grades and classes. It also shows the total number of students enroled in the school.
Grade Distribution
This graph gives a graphical view of the distribution of all the students by grade.
Gender Ratio
This graph gives a graphical view of the gender ratio of all students enroled in the school.
